The President has a number of projects in hand which could be of interest.
It would probably involve one half day a week or a fortnight.
Tasks involve, for example:
researching costs of goods and materials we are considering buying through grant submissions;
organising computer files and hard files;
making appointments with politicians, store managers etc.
This voluntary position’s purpose is to provide the President with backup.
Please contact the President, Susan Stephenson, on 0438 033 537
An opportunity has arisen whereby we can hold classes or group activities at Bunya House.
Bunya House is located at 1167 South Pine Road, Arana Hills.
For many years computer and photography courses have been held there.
But the front room is now available for group activities or classes to cater for the many members we have in that part of the Pine Rivers area.
The room can cater for up to 20 people. There is a white board, tables and chairs. It is very quiet and thus perfectly suitable for writing or discussion groups or activities such as chess, scrabble or any other type of class.
There is also a good size kitchen, lounge area and bathroom.
A tutor is not necessary, just anyone who is willing to facilitate a group.
If anyone is interested, please contact the Course Coordinator Di Brown on 3325 5361, or preferably, send an email to email@example.com
