Seeking tutors to join computer-related topics
We are seeking additional tutors to join a small group offering their expertise in computer-related topics, for our many students.
Classes are held at Bunya House, Arana Hills, and at U3A’s Kallangur Centre.
At Bunya House the facility provides desktop computers (Windows 10) and caters for BYO laptops as well. At Kallangur, students bring their own laptops. Internet access is available at both locations.
If you have a keen interest in computers as well as sufficient skills and enthusiasm to tutor a specialty subject, we would be very happy to offer this to interested U3A students.
Classes may also extend to tablets (both iPad and Android).
For further information, please contact Steve Hamilton (Computer Course Coordinator) on 3264 4365
An opportunity has arisen whereby we can hold classes or group activities at Bunya House.
Bunya House is located at 1167 South Pine Road, Arana Hills.
For many years computer and photography courses have been held there.
The front room is now available for group activities or classes to cater for the many members we have in that part of the Pine Rivers area.
The room can cater for up to 20 people. There is a white board, tables and chairs. It is very quiet and thus perfectly suitable for writing or discussion groups or activities such as chess, scrabble or any other type of class.
There is also a good size kitchen, lounge area and bathroom.
A tutor is not necessary, just anyone who is willing to facilitate a group.
If anyone is interested, please contact the Course Coordinator Di Brown on 3325 5361, or preferably, send an email to email@example.com
