U3A Pine Rivers Inc. Annual General Meeting

Friday 17th March 2023 – 9:30 am.
The theme for the AGM is Past, Present and Future.

U3A Pine Rivers Inc. will be celebrating its 30th birthday in 2023, so this is an important AGM.  The initial meeting to seek expressions of interest in forming a University of the Third Age (U3A) in the Pine Rivers area, was held on 23 March 1993 – almost 30 years ago exactly from this AGM.

You are welcome to arrive at the U3A Pine Rivers Centre, 1480 Anzac Avenue, Kallangur from 9:00 am. The AGM commences at 9:30 am.

Clare Blake - QIMRClare Blake – Community Relations Officer – QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute will be the Guest Speaker. Clare will provide a presentation from 10:15 am for 45 minutes.  If you attended the U3A Network Conference in 2022, you will recall the inspiring and informative presentation given by Clare.  There have been a number of exciting research successes at QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute.  Clare will share some of these with our members.
