Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea was held at U3A Pine Rivers Centre, Kallangur on Thursday 4 May.Drawing the many raffle prizes donated by members and businessesEveryone enjoyed the entertainment by Lin’s Dance Troupe, the delicious sweet and savoury goodies as well as the silly games and raffles.Teapot Toss was quite challengingBeautiful costumes and graceful dancingEnjoyable entertainment for everyoneBut the whole purpose of the morning was to raise funds for the Cancer Council – and raise funds we did!So far we have a total of $1,768.05 raised through online donations, presales of tickets and raffle tickets, additional raffle tickets on the day, cash donations and games proceeds. What a wonderful generous group of members we have.Thank you all!
